I’ve been pushing for using Instagram for quite a while and am constantly asked the same thing Why we should use Instagram? Because I’m beginning to sound like someone clicked “replay” each when I reply to this question, I decided I’d write a blog on the subject.
For some businesses and individuals, Instagram may not be the most beneficial platform. If you’re only able to devote the time to manage a few social media websites it’s possible that you won’t be in a position to justify the need for another. It’s okay. Instagram might not be the right choice for your needs right now. However, I would still suggest you read this article and look at the benefits of using the site. You might find it something you’d like to consider joining in the future.
Here are my top ten reasons why you should consider using Instagram and losfamos Instagram to grow your followers:
It’s More than The Shiny New Toy
It’s like there’s always a new toy in the near future. Another platform is being believed to be the next biggest trend. Actually, Instagram isn’t the latest thing. Instagram began public in October of 2010 and has been steadily growing in members since when it first launched. It’s been test and proven. It’s becoming bigger and better , and if the growth rate is an indication it’s going to be around for quite a while to the future.
This is Where it’s where “Kids” Are
Of course, there are plenty of social media platforms that “kids” (the young generation of millennials) visit. Many of them are on Instagram. Why? because their grandparents and parents aren’t as active on Facebook as their friends on Facebook. Guess where they were? Facebook. The site is an evolutionary process. The younger generation discovers these sites and start to make them popular. Then, the rest of the world catches on and they become popular for the other generations too. Instagram is likely to become (it has already begun to become) the latest popular platform.
There’s a lot to be said about photos.
Why bother writing a lengthy article when you can simply upload a photo? Instead of responding to the question “what is it that you’re doing?”, why not take a photo of your activities? Wouldn’t it be much more efficient and more useful? Pictures communicate a lot more to the viewers. They communicate ideas, emotions thoughts, feelings, sentiments and even reality. These are the things are lost by writing text. Images bring viewers into your world in such a way that they begin to believe that they are component of that.
It is also possible to think of photographs solely as an interaction perspective. Consider the content on your feed. What are the posts you like to take a moment to examine more attentively? The ones with text or with pictures? I’m certain I’m focused on photographs. A lot of times I read text, but I also stop to examine photos. If your feed is comprised of photos, you’re capitalizing on the phenomenon of the dominance of photos.
Be Unique
People love connecting with others. Photos are an excellent method to show the person you are as a person and who are the people who are behind the brand. Pictures of your employees or photos of you and your personal life can be a powerful way to engage to your target audience. Are you a brand that is youthful and vibrant? Perhaps it’s more refined and sophisticated? In any case, your images are able to convey your personality faster and more effective than any text posting ever.
It’s (Unintentionally) Marketer-Friendly
I don’t believe that the people behind Instagram thought of making their features and services specifically for marketers. However, they did. It’s almost like Facebook when you consider the ease with which you can be in front of your followers. The first thing to note is that Facebook doesn’t have Edgerank. In fact, you can have access to every picture of everyone that you like (assuming that you click down enough or regularly enough). As a brand you don’t have to think about which posts receive the most attention. All of them show up 100 percent in the feeds of your customers.
The new video features is very marketer-friendly since you can now not only let you share pictures, but also actually interact with your audience! Also, you can display actual footage of your work. The best thing is that the videos will automatically play on the feed! The viewers will be able to instantly view your video.
Ads Are Coming Soon
Although Instagram is free and is more or less user targeted, it is likely to be changing in the near-term. There’s a lot of discussion in the world of social media regarding Instagram advertising. I’m thinking this feature could be similar to the promoted posts that Twitter and Facebook have. The post will be displayed in the upper right corner of feeds or inside the feed, I’m sure it’s open to debate. But this option will surely be possible in the future. And I’m sure that many companies will be jumping onto the Instagram trend when it occurs. If, however, you’re already active on the platform and have a large number of followers, you don’t have to think about ads as significantly. You’ll already have the part of the attention of your customers.
Monitor Your Analytics
One of the main reasons users avoid Instagram for business is because they aren’t able to keep track of their activities. There isn’t a feature on Instagram to track this, there’s an online platform that can help you with this task. I am impressed by this website and the data it provides. Look up Statigram and you’ll be able to find the website that can do every thing for its users! I’m not going into detail about this site as I’ll write a subsequent article that will break down the features of the site. However, if you are using Instagram to conduct business, you should bookmark this website to keep track of your information.
Increase traffic to your site
If you do not be fooled, you can actually bring customers to your site via Instagram. It’s not the same like Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn or Google+, or even Facebook in general but it is able to be accomplished. The benefit these other websites have is that they allow you to add links to your website directly in your comments. On Instagram you can put links to your website in your comments, but it won’t be posted as hyperlinks. However, this makes it more difficult to post – and I’d like to see Instagram improves this in the near future.
You can also include the URL of your website within your bio. I would suggest that you pick the right link, as it’s the only thing that you are able to promote. Select the page that you likely to send users to. Then, what I suggest is to promote in your comments that readers should visit your site (for more details or to read an article for more pictures or to find out more information about a product, etc.) and inform them how to link your website is located in your bio. This is an additional step to be taken and it’s a good idea, but it’s effective. I know this because I’ve observed the results of driving traffic to my blog through Instagram.
It’s for all kinds of Companies
A lot of people believe that photographs are best suited to companies that sell products. However, this isn’t always the case. Even if you’re a B2B, there are numerous occasions to share your pictures. Your photos don’t need to be focused on “work”. Include pictures of your employees working or traveling to when you meet with clients, pictures of your office, pictures of your current projects photographs of flowers that surround your office. There’s no limit to what you can do on Instagram. Enjoy yourself and make your pictures reflect that!
It’s just Plain Fun!
If none of these reasons could be enough to warrant joining Instagram I’d suggest the service simply because it’s enjoyable. It’s one of the my favorite sites to use. It’s not always one of the best educational (I prefer Google+, Twitter, or LinkedIn for excellent content) However, sometimes you want to just enjoy yourself on social media. I personally prefer the site. It’s true that I am a photographer and I’m a huge fan of photography, so I could gain more value from this website than people who don’t like taking photographs. But , even so I’ve spoken to a lot of users who, even while they don’t publish lots of photographs, claim that Instagram is among their most visited websites.
I hope this encourages you to head to join Instagram. It’s a fantastic site even if you just make use of it for private use, I strongly recommend that you become familiar with the app. There will be much more from it in the near future
