These are only a few of the queries we receive regularly and we’ve put together an easy-to-follow guide to Pakistani food for all the newbies in the market to make your experience as relaxing and enjoyable as possible and without worrying about whether or not you’ll love the food or not!

Starters

In selecting your starters There’s an enormous (and tasty!) variety of options to choose from however if you’re unsure about something, you cannot get it wrong by having the Samosa.

We provide both vegetarian and meat samosas that delight a variety of tastes, so you can choose one or both, or both!

Samosas are a savoury triangular pastry that is cooked in oil. They are stuffed with the filling of onions, potatoes or peas when you choose the vegetable option or minced meat. It can be served which can be lamb, beef or chicken, depending on the meat choice.

The outer crust is spongy and is easily broken up since it’s deep fried and is often compared to an almost Cornish pasty snack that has spiced filling.

Usually it is served with chutney, but you can have it by itself, and can be consumed in cold or hot form.

Another excellent option as a snack is a pakora. This can be made from meat or vegetable and is a kind of deep-fried fritter that is savoury and delicious. They come in a variety of flavors, such as potato pakoras, chicken pakoras, onion pakoras or some even have spinach. The vegetables are coated with an gram of flour and cooked for a crispy texture and delicious taste that is great for almost everyone!

Main Courses

We all know the most popular types of curry used in Indian takeaways, and are readily found in our local supermarkets. They include korma, jalfrezi, rogan josh biryani, and balti.

If you don’t like spice Then why not try Kormas? Kormas made from chicken are the tiniest of curries. A korma is a lightly spiced and creamy dish that is created with cream or yoghurt and other spices like ginger and coriander.

Biryani dishes are wonderful alternatives for those who do not want to be far too spicy but would like something with a little bit more spice than Korma. It’s a tasty dish typically served with saffron-infused flavoured rice. It also includes spiced marinated meat and caramelized onions. This is classified as a medium-sized type of curry and shouldn’t knock your pants off overly!
